Terms of Service
Everything you need to know before sending a brief
1. Nature of the service
Order a Watch is a service for locating and mediating the purchase of a watch based on a client's brief. FCW takes steps to find a watch that meets the established criteria, but does not guarantee the availability of a specific reference, price, or timeline until an individual offer is presented and accepted.
2. Brief and proposals
Upon receipt of the form, FCW may contact the client to clarify the model, budget, condition, completeness, deadline, and acceptable alternatives. FCW shall present proposals in accordance with the arrangements to the extent possible, including information on price, condition, availability, and the estimated lead time.
3. Reservation deposit
If a specific proposal is accepted, FCW may request a reservation deposit. Its amount and terms are determined individually and confirmed prior to payment. The deposit confirms the order, secures the reservation of the watch, and may cover fulfillment costs.
4. Delivery deadlines
The typical lead time for sourcing a popular model is usually between 7 and 21 business days. Rare references, vintage watches, and collectible models may require 4 to 12 weeks or longer. The stated time frame is indicative, and we provide updates regarding any significant changes as they occur.
5. Payment
Full payment is due upon acceptance of the final offer, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the individual order confirmation. The deposit is credited toward the final price, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. We release or ship the watch once full payment has been credited and verification is complete.
6. If the watch is not found
If a watch meeting the criteria cannot be found within the agreed timeframe, FCW may propose extending the search or offer an alternative reference, model year, variant, or condition.
7. Limitations
FCW may refuse to provide the service if there are reasonable doubts regarding the legality of the source, authenticity, condition, feasibility of a safe purchase, or compliance with brand guidelines. We do not finalize transactions without an appropriate level of verification of origin and authenticity.
8. Acceptance
Submitting the form constitutes an inquiry about a service, not the conclusion of a purchase agreement. The agreement for a specific watch is concluded only after the client accepts the individual offer and the terms of the transaction.
